Representatives of the SIER of BSEU completed an internship at L.N. Gumilyov ENU

Dean of the School of International Economic Relations Oksana SHKUTKO and Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy Elena PETRUSHKEVICH completed an internship at the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Economics of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan).

This opportunity was given to them in the framework of the implementation of a bilateral agreement on cooperation between the Eurasian National University and the Belarusian State Economic University, aimed at creating a joint educational and scientific space of the two universities.

The internship program was filled with many activities, including the activation of professional contacts at various levels.

The internship was held under the guidance of the head of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, Professor Aigul MAYDYROVA. Students note the high level of organization of the work of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship and its educational and methodological support.

A number of consultations with the author of the internship, Professor A. Maydyrova, allowed the interns to acquire and consolidate practical skills in applying modern methods of scientific research, processing and interpreting experimental data within the framework of dissertations, and planning a number of joint publications based on their results.

One of the most important moments of the internship was a visit to the library of the ENU and acquaintance with her funds.

The meeting with the Director of the Department of Digital Development and Distance Learning Gulmira BEKMANOVA made it possible to identify new aspects for improving the software and methodological support in teaching the methodology of economic research and identified the vectors of digital development of a modern university.

With great interest, the interns got acquainted with the culture, traditions and values of both the university and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the internship, the students obtained certificates.
