Interuniversity forum "AUDIT.BY"

On November 24, the first Interuniversity Forum "AUDIT.BY" was held at BSEU. The best students of leading educational institutions, teachers and professionals of the field gathered to strengthen their professional knowledge and discuss topical issues of training auditors.

Before proceeding to the competitive part of the forum, representatives of the organizing committee and members of the jury delivered a welcoming speech to the students. Each of them found the necessary motivating words of support for the guys. Dmitry SYCH, Chairman of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Belarus, addressed the students, thanking the students for participating in the event aimed at developing the prestige of the profession, and shared the specifics of the work of the Audit Chamber. BSEU Vice-Rector for Research Egor GUSAKOV during the opening of the forum noted: “Audit organizes not only the accounting of any enterprise, but also all material and financial spheres of the economy. To do this, the auditor must have a huge amount of knowledge. I believe that today we will observe the competition of the intellects of the teams!”. The forum brought together those who know the profession from the inside. Aleksey RENEISKY, a certified auditor of the Republic of Belarus, introduced the students to the nuances of mastering the profession. After the speech of such bright professionals in the field of audit, the guys were inspired to achieve, learned a little more about the practical part of the audit, about employment and other prospects. The introductory theoretical part was followed by a competitive part - UEF Dean Vladimir BEREZOVSKY launched a competition for university teams.

Four teams from different universities of the country came to BSEU to meet like-minded people and take part in the competition "Regular audit will not hurt anyone." The teams of the Baranovichi State University "BukhSTARter", the Brest State Technical University "Nedeloitte", the Grodno State Agrarian University "Informal Check" and the Belarusian State Economic University "Auditor's Tent" prepared business cards, with the help of which they got to know each other better. After a creative acquaintance, the guys plunged into work. Interesting tasks and clear timing kept the participants in good shape until the last question. When the jury received the last answers, the students went for a break. At this time, the heads of accounting departments of the four participating universities, members of the organizing committee of the forum and teachers gathered for a round table to discuss the future of audit. All spoke according to the program, voiced the problems and prospects for the development of audit in the Republic of Belarus and beyond.

During the awards ceremony, each team received a certificate from BSEU. Creativity, innovativeness of ideas and brightness of the participants were noted by all members of the jury. But even among the best there are the best. The third place in the competition "Regular Audit Doesn't Hurt Anyone" was taken by the team of Baranovichi State University. The team of the Grodno State Agrarian University also received a 3rd degree diploma. Diploma of the 2nd degree - the team of the Belarusian State Economic University. The team of the Brest State Technical University became the winner of the competition and was photographed with a diploma of the 1st degree. All participants were not left without memorable souvenirs and sweet prizes from sponsors and organizers of the forum. We hope that the inter-university forum "AUDIT.BY" will become a place for meetings and transfer of experience of the best specialists in the field of audit to the younger generation.
