About us
The Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) is the successor of the Faculty of Planning and Economics (Pharm of Management), one of the oldest faculties of BSEU. He trains specialists of the new generation in the field of economics, innovation management, IT-technologies and modeling of the development of economic systems. Graduates receive qualifications of economic and managerial profile, which allows them to work at the leading enterprises of the republic, in scientific and design organizations, public administration and local self-government bodies, etc.
Every year, more than 1,800 full-time and part-time students study at the faculty. Since the activities of the faculty are aimed not only at the professional training of specialists, but also at their scientific growth, students are involved in the implementation of research, which ensures the integration of the educational process with research and management practice. At each department, student scientific student laboratories (SNIL) are actively functioning, a master’s, postgraduate studies and doctoral studies are organized. The Faculty of Economics and Management conducts international activities. He cooperates with various foreign educational institutions through the participation of teachers in international projects, holding international scientific conferences and seminars, including on-line, academic mobility of teachers and students, etc. At the faculty, student self-government bodies are active (thethe Faculty Student CouncilOld Statue,the Profbureauand andthe Bureau for BRSM), which are the initiators of original actions and events. According to the results of their activities, the FEM students and the FEM students are recognized as one of the best at the university in recent years. The faculty was the first in the BGEU, which on the initiative of students had its flag and coat of arms.
