Abstract: Разглядаюцца пытанні узнікнення i развіцця адвакатуры на тэрыторыі Беларусі да моманту прыняцця Статута Вялікага княства Літоўскага 1529 г. Даецца характарыстыка i аналіз асноўных формаў адвакацкай дзейнасці ў разглядаемы перыяд.
The paper considers the issues of creation and development of the institute of legal profession on the territory of Belarus prior to the adoption of the Statute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1529. The description and analysis of the basic forms of lawyer activity during the period concerned are given.
