Russian Language Course
The Department of Belarusian and Russian Languages of Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) offer Russian language course for international citizens who are eager to start learning this language or improve their language skills.
The number of students in the group and the cost will depend on the number of applications receivedand the period (number of hours) of the course.
Levels of training – from beginners to advanced speakers. You can choose any from the 5 curricula:
- Russian Language for Beginners
- Russian Language for Business Communication
- Russian Language. Speech practice
- Russian Language. Country studies
- Phonetic Video Course Karaoke in Russian
Groups are organized dependent on the number of applications received and the applicants’ level of language skills.
Classes are held five days a week in groups of up to 8 students or individually. The total number of academic hours - 24 per week.
Courses of Russian as a foreign language will both improve your knowledge of Russian grammar and familiarize you with Russian and Belarusian literature, culture, traditions and national features of Belarusians.
The courses are taught by highly skilled teachers with many year experience of work with international students both in Belarusian universities and abroad. Many of them are the authors of course books, tutorial guides and original methodologies for teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Accommodation in the BSEU hostel for international students is offered dependent on available vacant rooms. Accommodation is to be paid monthly (about 40-50 US dollars), its cost is not included in the tuition fee.

The tuition fee is established by the Rector’s order and shall be paid in a single payment at the stage of execution of the order of admission.
To apply for the course you are required to send scanned copies of the following documents to the International Office (e-mail: umoms@bseu.by) or the Dean's Office for International Students (e-mail: dinu@bseu.by):
- an application form duly filled in;
- copies of the passport pages containing personal information and their authorized translation into Russian;
- copy of the educational credential and its authorized translation into Russian;
- health certificates to prove absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), tuberculosis, hepatitis.
The papers above shall be sent at least 1 month before the course starts to have an official invitation letter issued that allows applying for a student visa.
The invitation letter will be sent to the address indicated in the application by a registered letter. Sending the invitation letter through DHL or similar delivery service is possible when paid by the applicant.
