Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus His Excellency Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al-Musharrah visited BGEU

On October 16, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus, His Excellency Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al-Musharrah, visited the Belarusian State Economic University.

The Ambassador met with the Rector of BGEU Alexey Vladimirovich EGOROV, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Anatolyevna MOROZEVICH, and Head of the Department of International Relations Yulia Grigoryevna PAVLOVSKAYA.

During the visit, the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of science and education between BGEU and UAE universities were discussed. Rector Alexey Vladimirovich EGOROV acquainted the distinguished guest in detail with the history and modern structure, educational and scientific potential. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Anatolyevna MOROZEVICH spoke about the competitive advantages of the Belarusian State Economic University, and also outlined the main possible areas of long-term partnership in educational and scientific activities with UAE universities.

The parties considered the possibility of implementing a number of educational projects for UAE citizens based at BSEU, including at the level of advanced higher education programs, dual degree programs and language schools.

His Excellency Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al-Musharrah visited the BSEU museum, signed the book of honored guests and expressed his desire to visit the university in the near future with a lecture on the economy and culture of the United Arab Emirates.
