FCE students won the Grand Prix at the International Student Olympiad in Statistics among CIS countries!

 For the third year in a row, FCE students have demonstrated outstanding results at the International Student Olympiad in Statistics among CIS countries.

This year, by unanimous decision of the jury, the Grand Prix was awarded to the BSEU team, consisting of students from group 22DCS: Konstantin Zhbankov, Anastasia Kravtsova, and Georgiy Skachek, who proved to be the best among 13 teams from CIS countries. The team was coached by the Head of the Statistics Department, Stanislav Yuryevich Vysotsky.

Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Inna Viktorovna Medvedeva, congratulated the winners during a meeting at Belstat, where our talented students received gifts provided by the UN Population Fund office in the Republic of Belarus.

“Let your success become a stimulus for new achievements in the field of statistics that will benefit our country,” said Inna Medvedeva to the winners. “You are a shining example for other universities and students, demonstrating that perseverance, talent, and deep knowledge lead to remarkable results on the international stage.”
