Dialogue platform «The role of the family in the formation of reproductive health»

On July 16, a dialogue platform on the topic "The role of the family in the formation of reproductive health" was held at BSEU.
The speakers were: Viktor Svetlana Aleksandrovna, head of the obstetric and gynecological laboratory of the State Institution Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Mother and Child"; Kotova Galina Sergeevna, associate professor of the Department of General Medical Practice with a course in geriatrics and palliative medicine of the Educational Institution "Belarusian State Medical University"; Balandina Evgeniya Andreevna, specialist of the City Health Center.
Everyone thinks that sooner or later they will need to create their own family, and everyone wants to be happy in marriage, and such a desire is natural for every person. One of the conditions for creating a happy and prosperous family was and remains the preservation of human health not only physical, mental, but also social.
The meeting was organized as part of preventive measures aimed at forming a healthy lifestyle and preserving reproductive health. The event discussed the consequences of early sexual experience, the likelihood of extramarital pregnancy, the principles of female body development, pathologies, and contraception methods.
During the conversation, the girls were given recommendations on body hygiene, nutritional hygiene, and problems that arise from a careless attitude to their reproductive health were revealed - unwanted pregnancy, abortions, sexually transmitted infections. The students' attention was focused on the main spiritual values of a person in relationships between the opposite sexes - respect and love. An important question arose about what can be done so that the future generation is born healthy and capable of giving birth to equally healthy children. To do this, it is necessary to be informed in such matters and be attentive to yourself.
It was noted that a woman will be a happy mother if she gives birth to a healthy, desired child, and this is possible if the expectant mother thinks about her health today, because the best treatment for any disease is prevention. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere, the students actively participated in the conversation, asked questions that concerned them, to which the specialists gave full and detailed answers within their competence. Let's hope that each girl present at the meeting took away something important and useful for herself! We express our gratitude to our speakers and hope for joint fruitful cooperation, which will allow us to implement joint projects!
