Students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the All-Belarusian Patriotic Forum "Unity of the People in the Memory of Generations"

On September 16, a delegation from BSEU, represented by students of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, took part in the All-Belarusian Patriotic Forum "Unity of the People in the Memory of Generations," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Participants included activists of patriotic projects, the search and museum movement, and others:
Elizaveta Kravchenko, Secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, organizer and participant in the art competition "Blessed Memory: The Path to Victory," author of the volunteer project "Call of the Heart," and participant in numerous patriotic events; Ulyana Morozovik, nominee of the art competition "Blessed Memory: The Path to Victory," participant in the "Golden Pen of Belaya Rus - 2025" competition; Ksenia Bobysh and Kristina Isachenko, participants in archaeological research at the "Archaeological Complex: Fortified Settlement (Gorodishche Village, Minsk District)" site, and other activists.
At the exhibition and presentation "War. Victory. Memory," the students learned about best practices and youth initiatives for preserving the historical memory of various educational institutions.
A memorable highlight of the patriotic event was the forum's ceremonial meeting, which took place in the Central Officers' Club. In his welcoming speech, Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, emphasized the importance of honoring the memory and traditions of one's people, expressing confidence that future generations will not only preserve this history but also disseminate and share it with others.
Sergei Nikolaevich Kornev, Head of the Department for the Perpetuation of the Memory of Defenders of the Fatherland and Victims of War of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, noted that those who forget their roots have neither stability nor development, which is why it is so important to show our youth the military exploits and achievements of our ancestors.
