Roundtable Discussion: "The Idea of Social Justice: Experience, Continuity, and Prospects" at BSEU

On November 12, a roundtable discussion on "The Idea of Social Justice in Belarus: Experience, Continuity, and Prospects" was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, organized by the Department of Political Science.
The event was moderated by Irina Aleksandrovna Malyuk, a lecturer in the Department of Political Science. Oleg Gennadievich Kazak, Head of the Department and Associate Professor, PhD in Political Science, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of scientific understanding of the stated problems in the context of contemporary Belarusian society.
The roundtable was attended by first- to fourth-year students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, the Faculty of Economics and Management, and the Faculty of Philosophy and Mass Communication, as well as master's students. Invited guests also gave presentations: Aleksey Valerievich Dzermant, a philosopher, senior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and editor-in-chief of the journal "History and Modernity," and Renat Boltunov, a student at BSU.
During the discussion, participants touched on a wide range of issues related to the economic prospects of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the social development model. Particular attention was paid to the role of the state in ensuring social justice and sustainable growth, the continuity of ideas of social solidarity in Belarusian realities, and the importance of national values in contemporary socio-political life.
The event took place in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue, exchange of ideas, and active academic discussion.
