Unified Open Day: BSEU Welcomes Future Applicants

On March 21, as part of the Unified Open Day, the Belarus State Economic University hosted a large-scale career guidance event, bringing together over 1,200 prospective students, their parents, and representatives from 32 organizations that employ graduates.

Guests had the opportunity to meet with the university administration and deans of faculties, receive consultations from the admissions committee, interact with student leaders, and learn more about career prospects from representatives of the employer organizations.

Tatyana Sadovskaya, First Vice-Rector of BSEU, noted: "Today, BSEU is the only specialized university that has been training economic personnel and specialists for the fields of legal and socio-economic support of economic activity, as well as other key areas, for over 90 years."

Prospective students actively inquired about the admission conditions. Anastasia, a student at the Minsk College of Finance and Economics, shared: "I came to BSEU today to get to know the university, learn about the admission conditions, and the opportunities available to college graduates. I want to continue developing and receive a high-quality education."

Company representatives spoke about opportunities for students.

Representatives of JSC "MTBank" noted that they accept students for internships starting from their first year, giving preference to those with an average grade point of 7.0 or higher, and actively recruit BSEU graduates for job placement, emphasizing that the average age of the bank’s employees is just 31.

The Investigative Committee Office for the City of Minsk, which has had a cooperation agreement with the university for three years, reported that 25 graduates of the Faculty of Law join their ranks annually, as BSEU students arrive for service already well-prepared.

On this day, applicants took their first step toward their future in the profession, and the employer organizations took their first step toward those who will join the ranks of young specialists in a few years. We wish the applicants success in choosing their path and eagerly await new meetings at BSEU!
