Case Club Session at the Higher School of Economics

A Case Club session at the Higher School of Economics was held on March 23. It was devoted to a discussion of strategic scenarios for the further development of Belarus's oldest garment manufacturer, Znamya Industrializatsii OJSC (Vitebsk), developed by our university's master's students majoring in Business Administration.
Lyudmila Ivanovna Garbachevskaya, a renowned expert on the development of the light industry in the Republic of Belarus, a manager of several manufacturing plants and organizer of successful start-up projects in the garment industry in Vitebsk and Minsk, a 2015 graduate of the Belarusian State Economic University's MBA program, and Deputy Director of Finance at the private production unitary enterprise Classic Group, served as the session's moderator.
Together with the master's students, she discussed four strategic trajectories for the prospective development of this renowned Belarusian enterprise, which they had presented. Following the presentation of the business projects, the most creative and economically feasible project was identified. Its authors received an award from the jury, consisting of L.I. Gorbachevskaya and S.Yu. Krichevsky, Dean of the Higher School of Business and Management. The strategic development scenarios for the garment company proposed by BGEU graduate students will be shared with the management of the Orsha Linen Mill, a subsidiary of Znamya Industrializatsii OJSC.
