II International Youth Environmental Festival "GREEN FEST - 2026" Held at BSEU

On April 17, the Faculty of Marketing and Logistics of the Belarusian State Economic University hosted the II International Youth Environmental Festival "GREEN FEST - 2026".
The festival brought together participants from Belarusian and foreign universities, as well as representatives of companies interested in promoting sustainable development ideas and ESG approaches. Among the invited guests were representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Priorbank JSC, Alex Cargo LLC, the Institute of Continuing Education of BSU, including Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
Vice-Rector for Science Alexey Alexandrovich Bykov emphasized the significance of the GREEN FEST festival for BSEU, noting that it is a place where ideas are born that find their way into real projects. He also reminded that the university ranks first in the national segment of the international UI GreenMetric World University Ranking, becoming the leader among all universities in Belarus in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
In turn, Svetlana Nikolaevna Lapina, Dean of the Faculty of Marketing and Logistics, noted that student interest in the festival grows every year: the geography of participants is expanding, and the festival itself is becoming larger in scale.
The festival program combined educational, interactive, and competitive formats. Participants competed in an ESG case championship, solving practical problems from partner companies and proposing innovative solutions. An ESG meetup "Territory of Sustainable Solutions and Creative Ideas" was held, where experts from business, government, and academia discussed trends in environmental policy and the role of youth. Additionally, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ecology. Human. Business" took place remotely, with a collection of articles in three languages planned for publication.
Of particular interest was the interactive zone. Everyone could leave their idea on the "Wall of Eco-Ideas" by answering the question: "What can marketing do for a sustainable future?" The festival concluded with a symbolic ceremony — planting the "GREEN FEST - 2026 Tree," which united all participants around the common goal of preserving the environment.
