BSEU Students at the 11th International Volunteer Teams Festival "Our Choice – Healthy Lifestyle!"

From 24 to 26 April, a team from the Faculty of Finance and Banking took part in the 11th International Volunteer Teams Festival "Our Choice – Healthy Lifestyle!", which was held at Polesie State University.

The three-day programme brought together participants from different regions of Belarus and included educational, discussion-based and sports events aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing addictions among young people.

As part of the festival, training sessions dedicated to mental health were held. Particular interest was shown in the "Anti-Stress First Aid Kit" training and the "No Problem?" case game, during which students learned practical tools for coping with stress.

Interactive sessions were organised for volunteer teams: cheese and tea tasting, a forum theatre "1 Choice – 1 Life", as well as a photo exhibition "Drugs – The Face of Tragedy". During these events, participants discussed current issues of addiction prevention among young people.

BSEU students actively took part in physical and wellness activities: a flash mob, yoga classes, fitness duets, Nordic walking, and a demonstration of Kyokushin karate techniques.

Volunteer work occupied a special place in the festival programme. Students took part in planting an alley dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Polesie State University and also provided assistance at the Pinsk Psycho-neurological Nursing Home and the children's rehabilitation centr
