BSEU Sums Up Results of Admission to Fee-Paying Form of Education

The Belarusian State Economic University has completed enrollment for the fee-paying form of education and summed up the results of the admission campaign. A total of 2,575 applications were submitted. The number of applications submitted for the full-time form of higher education amounted to 1,158 (with a planned target of 861), for the part-time form with a full term of study – 350 (with a planned target of 205), and for the part-time form with a shortened term of study – 1,067 (with a planned target of 713).

Among the specialties with the highest competition in the full-time form of study, the following stand out: "Commodity Science" with a competition of 3.9 applicants per place, "Sociology" – 2.6 applicants per place, and "Accounting, Analysis and Audit" – 2.05 applicants per place. In the part-time form with a full term of study, the greatest interest of applicants was attracted by "Accounting, Analysis and Audit" with a competition of 2.15 applicants per place, "Commerce" – 2.04 applicants per place, and "Finance and Credit" – 1.98 applicants per place. In the part-time form with a shortened term of study, the leaders in terms of competition were "Advertising Activities" – 2.75 applicants per place, "Commerce" – 1.89 applicants per place, and "World Economy" – 1.88 applicants per place.

The specialties with the highest passing scores in the full-time form of study were "Jurisprudence" with a passing score of 340, "Linguistic Support of Intercultural Communication" – 337, and "Political Science" and "Sociology" – with 321 points each. In the part-time form with a full term of study, the highest passing scores were recorded in "Marketing" – 262, "Business Administration" – 251, and "Advertising Activities" – 250. In the part-time form with a shortened term of study, the highest passing scores were noted in "Logistics" – 231, "World Economy" – 210, and "Marketing" – 207.
