BSEU Welcomes Young Specialists – 2026

This year, Belarusian State Economic University has traditionally opened its doors to young specialists, adding talented new staff to its team. One of them is Ilona Bokach, a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism, who joined the Department of Mass Media and PR Technologies through job placement.

She came to the country's leading economic university not by chance – she found the vacancy on her own and immediately realized: this was exactly what she had been looking for.

"I have always wanted to work in mass media," Ilona admits.

Her responsibilities include preparing content for the website and social media, monitoring the information landscape, and working with news. Currently, she is getting acquainted with the university's internal communications, learning the workflows, and gradually immersing herself in the department's life:

"There is still a lot that is new to me here, but that only fuels my interest. Colleagues help me settle in, explain everything in detail, and share their experience."

It is important that young professionals do not go unnoticed by the state either. In Belarus, those just starting their career can count on incentive payments and tax deductions. "This is real support at the start of a career, especially for a recent graduate," Ilona notes.

She is especially looking forward to the start of the new academic year. That is when the university truly comes alive: student events, conferences, and creative projects kick off.

Ilona intends not only to handle her current duties but also to keep growing as a professional. For her, this is a chance to gain practical experience and immediately apply the knowledge she gained at university:

"I hope that these two years will be a time of growth for me and will allow me to prove myself as a professional."
