BSEU Rector Meets with First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS

On October 30, a working meeting was held between the leadership of the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS.

During the talks, the parties discussed strategic directions for developing cooperation between the leading higher education institutions of the Commonwealth, as well as global initiatives in education and science. BSEU Rector Alexei Egorov spoke about the current results and future prospects of partnership with educational organizations of the Russian Federation, including framework agreements and joint educational programs with key Russian partner universities.

Special attention was paid to educational and scientific initiatives that could provide a solid foundation for expanding integration processes across the CIS countries. The parties noted the importance of joint scientific events, increasing publication activity, and supporting student exchanges, including virtual mobility.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to promote joint projects aimed at strengthening the educational and scientific partnership and developing youth initiatives within the CIS space.
