Master's degree program «State Regulation of National and Regional Economy» is aimed at deepening and expanding the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of specialists of state and local government bodies, practitioners, managers, teachers, and economic analysts.
Goal is to provide advanced training of highly qualified specialists of the next generation in the field of state, regional, and local government and self-government.

Places of employment for graduates: state and local government bodies, research centers and organizations, analytical departments of large commercial banks, investment companies, consulting companies, higher education institutions.
The program will provide an extensive range of professional skills, including but not limited to:
- apply methods of scientific knowledge in research activities, generate and implement innovative ideas;
- carry out communications in a foreign language in the academic, scientific and professional environment;
- demonstrate leadership skills, be able of team building and developing strategic goals and objectives;
- analyze the features of macroeconomic policy under different initial conditions of the functioning of the economy;
- identify the main patterns and trends in the development of the national economy, apply forecasting methods, use computer software to build forecasting models for the development of the national economy;
- develop and implement innovative and venture projects, to form and develop the competitive advantages of the organization based on innovative solutions, to master new market segments of innovative products and services;
- evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation innovation activities at the company, region and country levels;
- possess innovative methods for diagnosing and assessing the current macroeconomic situation in the labor market, identifying key factors of employment and unemployment, compile an analytical review of the labor market and develop recommendations for improving its regulation;
- identify and analyze the features of regional economic development;
- use the tools of statistics and econometrics to model spatial relationships;
- apply modern methods and tools for analyzing and regulating regional processes, interrelations and proportions, forecasting, programming and stimulating socio-economic development of regions and cities ;
- use statistical and analytical techniques to model spatio-temporal relationships;
- assess socio-economic, organizational, legal and technological conditions of entrepreneurial activity.
The competition for admission to the Master's degree program is open to persons who have received general higher education in specialties that allow them to qualify for advanced higher education in the implementation of the master's degree program.
