The "Economic Informatics" profiling is an interdisciplinary area of ​​education at the interface of information and communication technologies, economics and management.
The training within the framework of the "Informatics" profiling is a balanced combination of fundamental disciplines, research seminars and practical courses.
Undergraduates are granted access to the most modern software from leading world manufacturers (SAP).

Mission:
professional and intellectual development of specialists in the field of economic informatics, training of masters with high competence, able to ensure the progress and development of information technology.

Purpose:
Preparation of a new generation of highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology.

Summary:
The Economic Informatics profiling was developed by the Economic Informatics Department of BSEU based on an analysis of the needs of IT enterprises in the field of management and maintenance of design processes, implementation, maintenance of software, as well as global trends in the development of IT sphere.

Graduates with a master's degree in Economic Informatics will possess special skills and knowledge in project management software, integrated information systems and technologies (including SAP technologies) and assessment of their effectiveness, and intelligent information systems. This prepares the future master's degree for work in IT enterprises in prestigious positions, as well as in organizations of any form of ownership and activity where corporate information systems and information technologies are being introduced.
