Admission Procedure
Procedure for admission of foreign citizens to the educational faculties and training courses of foreign citizens of the Center of pre-university study and professional orientation at the BSEU
For admission to BSEU, foreign citizens open (if necessary) a study visa to enter the Republic of Belarus. Such a visa is issued on the basis of an official invitation received by the applicant from BSEU.
To receive an official invitation, please send it by e-mail to dinu@bseu.by no later than September 20 of this year.by the following documents:
- an application for issuing an invitation indicating the faculty (or training courses for foreign citizens of the Center of pre-university study and professional orientation) and specialty (for general higher education), specialty or master's program (for advanced higher education), form of study (full-time, part-time), full postal address, email address or contact number;
- copies of the passport pages with personal information (including the full name in Latin letters, passport number, validity period, country) and their certified translation into Russian;
- copies of documents on education (full secondary, higher), their certified translation into Russian;
- a copy of the birth certificate and/or other document confirming the date of birth and citizenship – for underage applicants.
After reviewing the submitted documents, you will be informed about the preparation and sending of the official invitation.
Upon arrival at BSEU, together with the original invitation to the Educational and Methodical Department for the Coordination of Education for Foreign Citizens (hereinafter referred to as the Department), the following documents must be submitted no later than October 15 of this year (Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 23 of 01.27.2022):
- an application addressed to the head of a higher education institution (hereinafter referred to as HEI) in accordance with the form established by the Ministry of Education (to be filled in at the department);
- the original certificate (document) of education indicating the subjects studied and the marks (points) obtained on them during exams-provided that these documents are recognized in the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the established procedure;
- a document on passing a mandatory medical examination in the territorial health organizations determined by the HEI in coordination with the health committee (main departments) of the Minsk City Executive Committee (regional executive committees), confirming the absence of medical contraindications to studying in the Republic of Belarus;
- certificate of absence of HIV infection issued by the official health authority of the country from which the applicant arrived;
- original (copy) of the birth certificate and/or other document confirming the date of birth and citizenship – for underage applicants;
- certificate of completion of the faculty of pre-university training, preparatory department, preparatory courses of HEI – in cases of graduation.
Persons studying in HEI and applying for second and subsequent higher education, as well as persons applying for distance education, may submit a copy of the certificate (document) of education.
The listed documents executed in a foreign language are accompanied by a notarized translation into Belarusian or Russian.
In addition to the above-mentioned documents, the department must submit:
- passport with a STUDY VISA TO ENTER the Republic of Belarus;
- notarized translation of passport pages with personal information;
- 10 photos with a size of 3x4 cm.
A foreign citizen can start studying if the following conditions are met:
- All of the above documents are submitted to the department.
- The applicant is familiar with the Rules of stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus under signature;
- A training agreement was signed and payment for the first stage of training was made;
- The applicant has a medical insurance policy for receiving emergency and emergency medical care (it is purchased in one of the state insurance organizations);
- An order has been signed to enroll a foreign citizen in training;
- The foreign citizen underwent a mandatory medical examination at the city student polyclinic No. 33.
Foreign citizens applying for general and advanced higher education are interviewed in the language of instruction in the scope of general secondary education. Questions and tasks of the introductory interview are recorded in the oral answer sheets. The applicant is offered a list of questions (tasks), which are evaluated with points from 0 (zero) to 10 (ten). Persons who have received a score of 0 (zero), 1 (one), 2 (two), or 3 (three) points are not allowed to study.
Foreign citizens who are not enrolled in the 1st year according to the results of the interview can be accepted to study at the training courses for foreign citizens of the BSEU Center of pre-university study and professional orientation.
