Lists of documents for applying for stay permissions, visas, e.t.c

The list of documents to apply for temporary stay permission:

  1. Duly filled in request form
  2. Payment receipt
  3. Insurance policy copy (except for citizens of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine)

*to apply for temporary stay permission you should submit the abovementioned documents to the Sector of migration registration and support for foreign students (room 4, building 2) within 5 days after entrance to the country.

The list of documents to apply for a year-long temporary residence permission:

  1. Letter from the university to the Police office for citizenship and migration
  2. Duly filled in application form
  3. Passport copy (page with a photo) and its notarized in Belarus translation into Russian language
  4. Insurance policy copy (except for citizens of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine)
  5. Payment receipt
  6. Signed legal instruction sheet
  7. Residential lease agreement (+its copy)
  8. Enrollment contract (+its copy)

*to apply for a year-long temporary residence permission you should submit the abovementioned documents to the Sector of migration registration and support for foreign students (room 4, building 2) 20 days before your current temporary residence permission becomes invalid.

The list of documents to apply for a visa of the Republic of Belarus:

  1. Letter from the university to the Police office for citizenship and migration
  2. Duly filled in application form
  3. Insurance policy copy (the Sector of migration registration and support for foreign students (room 4, building 2))
  4. Payment receipt
  5. Departure clearance checklist (can be found in The Educational and Methodical Department for the Coordination of Education of Foreign Citizens (room 244, building 3)

*to apply for a visa you should submit the abovementioned documents to the Sector of migration registration and support for foreign students (room 4, building 2) 2 weeks before departure.

All the information, samples and forms can be found in the same place. Visa is made in the Police office for citizenship and migration within 10 days/5 days expeditiously. You should fill in the application form in The Educational and Methodical Department for the Coordination of Education of Foreign Citizens 3 weeks before departure.

The list of documents to change the address of temporary residence:

  1. Letter from the university to the Police office for citizenship and migration
  2. Passport copy (page with a photo) and its notarized in Belarus translation into Russian language
  3. Copy of new residential lease agreement
  4. Departure clearance checklist (if you leave a student hostel. Can be found in The Educational and Methodical Department for the Coordination of Education of Foreign Citizens (room 244, building 3)

*you should submit the abovementioned documents to the Sector of migration registration and support for foreign students (room 4, building 2).

A foreign citizen MUST change the address of temporary residence within 3 days after a new residential lease agreement was signed and he/she moved in.
