The holiday of national unity and native language at FIBC

On September 19, the Faculty of International Business Communications gathered to continue the celebration of the National Unity Day and also to start the Mother Language Week.

The guests of the event were the dean of the faculty Yulia SHAVRUK, associate professor of the department of intercultural economic communications Mikhail MISHKEVICH and the head of the department of Russian and Belarusian languages Olga GUBSKAYA.

"There is no such happiness and grief on earth that you could not convey to us!" - wrote Maxim Tank in a poem dedicated to his native language. This year marks the 110th anniversary of Maxim Tank's birthday, and students Viktoriya Kapustina and Daria Kudrashova read a poem by the great Belarusian poet.

The students took part in a thematic quiz devoted to the state symbols and anthem, and also guessed the wonderful Belarusian sights: temples, churches, castles, monuments from videos.

The faculty celebration was continued by a touching flashmob: everyone in the audience could write their favorite word in their native language on a small plume and "gift" it to the stork, and at the end of the event, the famous "Kupalinka" was performed by students Anna Shestakova, Van Kaidi and Anna Poliakova!
