Mother language day at FCTI

The Day of the Belarusian Language was held at the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism Industry on September 22! The FCTI Student Council prepared many interesting contests, and most importantly, dishes based on Belarusian cuisine recipes.

Freshmen showed special activity, filling the balcony of the second floor, a traditional place for faculty events. There were also many native language lovers in senior courses.
Solving the "My Belarus" crossword puzzle, the students remembered - and some learned - about the holidays, traditions, museums and sights of the Motherland.

Many showed themselves in the spelling and punctuation competition, in the competition to know the portraits and real names of a constellation of Belarusian writers and poets: U. Karatkevich, Ya. Kolas, Ya. Kupala, R. Baradulin. For the correct answers, smart people were treated with goodies.

Students were also invited to leave warm wishes in their native language on a huge sheet of paper in memory of this fun and useful day.

Respect your native language and remember the words of F.Bagushevich: "Don't leave our Belarusian language so that it does not die."
