BSEU among the winners of the Republican Universiade

On the basis of the sports and cultural center of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, on October 19, the solemn opening ceremony of the Republican Universiade 2022/2023 academic year was held, as well as the awarding of winners and prize-winners of the Republican Universiade — 2021.

The opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, the Belarusian Association of Student Sports, as well as the heads of 45 institutions of higher education and more than 700 students.

According to the results of the Universiade, winners and prize-winners were determined in 4 groups. In the second group, among the institutions that provide training in the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" and teach from 3001 to 10 thousand students, the Belarusian State Economic University took the honorable III place. The well-deserved bronze was awarded to the vice-rector for educational work Sergey Ivanovich SKRIBA and the head of the BSEU sports club Elena Evgenievna KANAVALOVOY.

We congratulate the winners with well-deserved awards and wish all participants of the Republican Universiade excellent sports form, bright victories and achievements!
