International Scientific and Practical Conference «Ecology. Human. Business»

More and more brands today are taking a course on sustainability, which is not surprising - initiatives like sorting garbage or going to the store with eco-bags have finally become a habit for many buyers. October 26, participants of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Ecology. Human. Business» got involved in the work of the sections and took another step towards the environment.
The participants had the opportunity to make a presentation on the four directions announced by the organizers. Each of them was supervised by a responsible representative from BSEU:
- Section 1 "Environmental Aspects in Logistics and Supply Chain Management" was supervised by Svetlana Dirko (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Logistics and Pricing Policy).
- Section 2 "Environmental Marketing and Advertising in the Context of Sustainable Development" was supervised by Nadezhda Poleshchuk (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing) and Snezhana Trishina (assistant of the Department of Marketing).
- Section 3 "Environmental, Social and Economic Aspects of the Green Economy" - Yulia Shavruk (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Dean of FMBC).
- 4th section "Young aspirations" - Natalya Kazachenko (assistant of the Department of Industrial Marketing and Communications).
The work of the conference sections began at the same time and this is not the only thing that united them. Slightly worried guys of different ages were similar in their desire to make this world a better place, but, unlike many, they knew what they needed to do. The youngest participant of the conference, a student of gymnasium No. 4 in Minsk, Diana Kozhemyako, registered for the 4th section with the “Recycling through Google” project. Her class teacher, Natalya Chernukhina, supported the fourth-grader in her desire to create an ecological Google map of recycling points for recycling waste from the microdistrict of their educational institution. The members of the jury liked the idea of nine-year-old Diana so much that a specialist in the development of an eco-direction in the Green network offered her cooperation. Needless to say, how Diana's support group in the audience rejoiced! The next section also had a lot of interesting things. Section 3 - the only one held in a foreign language. There was a large representation of various faculties of the Belarusian State Economic University and two whole first places, which were shared by students of the Belarusian State Economic University and the Institute of Business of the Belarusian State University. 32 speakers registered for the largest section of the conference - the second one, and a wide representation of the country's business sector gathered among the jury: Anna Karavaeva (HR, business partner of ALIDI Belarus), Valentina Monak (Marketing Director BelFitus (European network of gyms Gym24)) and Anastasia Zmitrovich-Klepatskaya (Head of the Planning and Marketing Service of New Radio). In other sections, the jury was no less expert: Tatyana Efremova (Director of ACE Logistics), Marina Gurchenok (specialist in the development of eco-direction in the Green network), Nadezhda Batova (PhD in Economics, head of sectors of environmental and economic research at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences Belarus) and teachers of BSEU. The first section was distinguished by the fact that all its winners in the end are students of the 1st and 2nd year.
As you can clearly see from the photo, the second day of Green Fest was inspiring. More than a hundred participants shared their ideas, made presentations to the public and listened to constructive advice for the future. Students during the conference were not left to their own devices - they felt supported and therefore there was almost no room for excitement in their speeches. As a result of the conference, the winners received gifts from the main sponsor - the Officeton Market chain store - and honestly earned diplomas from the organizers.
