"Youth is the future!" BSEU hosted a meeting with Andrey Bugrov

On November 15, at the initiative of the dean's office of the Institute of Social Science and Humanities Education, a meeting of students with a well-known graduate of the Belarusian State Economic University - Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Andrei Bugrov took place.

“55 deputies for a city of two million – is it a lot or a little?..” – Andrey Bugrov began his speech with this rhetorical question and told the students of the ISGO and UEF in detail about the activities of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the main tasks and directions of work of the Minsk City Council of Deputies. The students learned about how the city budget is formed, the two main cost items of which are social spheres - healthcare and education. Andrei Bugrov spoke about the prospects for the development of the city and the existing problems, noting that social guidelines in Minsk are being implemented very actively. The primary task of the Minsk City Council of Deputies, according to the speaker, is the joint activity of deputies and youth, thanks to which the capital becomes more beautiful, and the life of Minsk residents is better! A separate conversation was devoted to youth initiatives - ISSHE students Kirill Kalechits, Vyacheslav Sabansky, Vladislav Login and Konstantin Borisevich presented to the guest their urban and patriotic projects to improve life in the city and, in particular, in the Zavodskoy district.

Andrey Bugrov answered in detail all the questions of the audience and wished the children to actively participate in the life of our beloved capital: “It is you who will continue to develop our city and be its driving force!”
