Developing international cooperation: the results of the visit of the BSEU delegation to Armenia

On November 25, the Belarusian State Economic University signed a Memorandum of Understanding and International Cooperation with universities from 5 EAEU countries.

On November 25, 2022, a solemn ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding and International Cooperation with the universities of the EAEU countries was held at the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The document was signed by representatives of institutions of higher education and science of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan. Our university was represented at the ceremony by the First Vice-Rector Elena KIREEVA.

The parties agreed to develop educational and scientific cooperation by: implementing joint educational programs of higher and additional professional education in a network form; development of joint academic mobility programs, including practices and internships for students, researchers and employees of organizations; joint development and implementation of comprehensive research programs and scientific and practical activities; organization of joint lectures, seminars, master classes, and other academic meetings on issues of mutual interest; exchange of scientific and educational materials, etc.

The signing of the Memorandum took place within the framework of the scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of Eurasian integration in the social and humanitarian sphere" (Yerevan, Armenia), held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. The Republic of Belarus was represented by a delegation from BSEU.

Elena KIREEVA and Vice-Rector for Academic Activities Olga MOROZEVICH took part in the plenary session "Mechanisms for the formation of a single scientific and educational space in the Eurasian region", making a presentation on the topic "Educational trends in partnerships with EAEU universities: best practices", as well as at a working meeting of heads of universities in the Eurasian space on the implementation of joint educational projects. Kokshetau University named after Shokan Ualikhanov (Republic of Kazakhstan), the Russian Regional Academy in Armenia (Republic of Armenia) and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “State Academic University for the Humanities” made specific proposals for cooperation and the establishment of contractual relations with BSEU. Interest in cooperation was also expressed by the rector of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, the rector of the Issyk-Kul State University. Kasyma Tynystanova, rector of Astrakhan State University V.N. Tatishcheva, as well as the Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations. E.M. Primakov RAS.

Doctoral student, Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics of the Belarusian State Economic University Stanislav VYSOTSKY made a presentation on the topic “The social and humanitarian aspect of the economic stability of the EAEU countries” at the sectional meeting “The social and humanitarian dimension of Eurasian integration: the experience of Armenia, Belarus and Russia”

The BSEU delegation also took part in the round table "The strategic importance of Eurasian integration in the context of strengthening the common scientific and educational space."
