Cooperation between BSEU and the Institute of Economics of the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences

The first steps in the implementation of cooperation between the Republic of Karelia (Russian Federation) and the Republic of Belarus (http://bseu.by/russian/news/202212080.htm) have been made. On December 8, an online meeting was held between the staff of the Department of Statistics of the Faculty of Digital Economics of the Belarusian State Economic University and representatives of the Institute of Economics of the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IE KarRC RAS).

Anastasia VASILIEVA, Assistant Director for International Cooperation of the Institute of Economics of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told the audience about the Institute of Economics of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, its structure and main activities. Director of the Institute of Economics of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Tatyana Vasilievna MOROZOVA also joined the BSEU via video link. From our side, the dean of the Faculty of Digital Economics Tatyana Nikolaevna NALETSKAYA, head of the Department of Statistics Professor Nina Vladimirovna AGABEKOVA, Professor of the Department of Statistics Lyudmila Antonovna SOSHNIKOVA, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of BSEU Victoria Genrikhovna SENDRIK, as well as teachers of the department and students of the specialty "Statistics" took part in the conversation.

The participants discussed mutual interests and vectors of scientific cooperation, prospects for joint projects, internships for teachers and young scientists from among undergraduates, graduate students and graduate students. The constructive, friendly atmosphere of this event instills confidence in the successful implementation of all plans.
