Live broadcast of the seminar "Republic of Belarus: from the origins to the present (the historical path of state building)" at the Belarusian State Economic University

On January 25, each educational institution broadcasted live the seminar "The Republic of Belarus: from the origins to the present (the historical path of state building)". Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalia KOCHANOVA, outstanding historians gathered at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus to analyze in detail the events that affected the national character of society in their reports.

In one of the auditoriums of the Belarusian State Economic University, the live broadcast was watched together with the Rector. Alexey EGOROV listened to the speakers with Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Sergey SKRIBA, deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of structural divisions and students. For almost three hours, the university staff heard reliable historical facts that created the prerequisites for the formation of an independent state - the Republic of Belarus.

The Chairman of the Council of the Republic, on behalf of the participants of the seminar and on her own behalf, expressed deep gratitude to those who today oppose attempts to distort history on the information and ideological front, who participate in the identification of historical facts and perpetuate memory, who through their daily diligent scientific, pedagogical, expert activities, public affairs, people's diplomacy makes a personal contribution to the formation and implementation of the country's historical policy. "It's worth a lot. We saw how important it is," Natalya Kochanova concluded.
