BSEU and KalmSU signed a Cooperation agreement

On February 16, within the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, a delegation of the Republic of Kalmykia (Russian Federation) visited BSEU.

Among the guests of honor of our university were Advisor to the Head of the Republic of Kalmykia Vladimir SALYKOV, Acting Head of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Kalmykia Natalya BOLDYREVA, Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov” (KalmSU, Elista) Badma SALAEV. BSEU was represented at the talks by First Vice-Rector Elena KIREEVA, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Methodological Affairs Tatyana SADOVSKAYA, as well as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Business Communications Ruslan GONCHAROV and Head of the Department of English and Oriental Languages Elena MALASHENKO.

During the negotiations, representatives of the leadership of BSEU and KalmSU exchanged detailed information on the priority areas of activity of both universities, discussed the prospects for cooperation in the educational and scientific fields, and expressed their readiness to exchange experience. The results of the negotiations were confirmed by the solemn signing of the Cooperation Agreement. The parties exchanged memorable souvenirs, and the First Vice-Rector of BSEU Elena Kireeva invited honored guests to take part in the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the university in May 2023.

Note that KalmSU is one of the leading universities in the southern part of the Russian Federation. This is an innovative platform for holding scientific forums, international and all-Russian conferences on a wide range of issues devoted to the problems of ecology, humanitarian research, higher and secondary education, Mongolian and Oriental studies, ethnopedagogics, Buddhist culture. And, despite the solid distance between Minsk and Elista, BSEU and KalmSU have a lot of points of contact, which opens up opportunities for further fruitful cooperation.
