Discussion of the project of the political party "Belaya Rus" in BSEU

On March 3, BSEU was visited by the Chairman of the republican public association "Belaya Rus" Oleg Aleksandrovich Romanov. He met with the rector of the Belarusian State Economic University Alexei Vladimirovich Yegorov and talked to the students. On the same day, in the format of a debate at the Belarusian State Economic University, a dialogue platform was held, where students of 1-3 courses of the ISSC on behalf of the "Government" and "Opposition" spoke about the project of the political party "Belaya Rus".

Our university regularly hosts Debate League tours organized by the NGO Belaya Rus, and many students have experience of participating in discussions of this format. Honored guests and experts attended today's event: Chairman of the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus" Oleg Aleksandrovich Romanov, Chairman of the Minsk City Organization of the NGO "Belaya Rus" Natalya Vladimirovna Voronova, Chairman of the Factory Regional Organization of the NGO "Belaya Rus" Svetlana Vladimirovna Leonenko, Director of the Institute of Social -humanitarian education Danila G. Dobrorodniy, head of the Department of Political Science Anastasia Olegovna Bueva, teacher of the department, associate professor Nikolai Yuryevich Veremeev and assistant of the department Kirill Igorevich Kostinevich. In his welcoming speech, the Chairman of the NGO “Belaya Rus” Oleg Romanov emphasized the relevance of this meeting: “Our public association initiated the creation of a political party in Belarus. We have held constituent assemblies in all regions of our country. 16,000 founders expressed their desire to create a political party and supported us. They delegated their representatives to the founding congress, which will be held on March 18. An important issue on the agenda will be the adoption of the Charter and the program of the party. Today we will take into account constructive, reinforcing views on the program. It is important for us to know the opinion of student youth. We look forward to your mature and constructive proposals.”

The moderator of the debate, a 2nd year student of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alina Belyaeva, announced the rules of the game and announced the topic: “This Chamber stands for the adoption of a program of a political party with the working title “Belarusian Political Party Belaya Rus”.

Time has gone. Representatives of the "Government" and "Opposition" spoke, the leaders asked each other questions, summed up and summarized opinions. The time allotted for the game flew by. The students were thanked for having deeply understood the topic and structure of the program, its ideas: “Thanks to the members of the Opposition for criticism and practical suggestions for improvement,” Oleg Aleksandrovich Romanov noted. - Some ideas seemed to me significant in order to get into the program. Your "young" maximalism turned out to be very useful! Svetlana Leonenko, chairperson of the Zavodskaya regional organization of the NGO Belaya Rus, recalled that their website has a program with tabs where you can and should submit your ideas and make comments. The head of the Department of Political Science Anastasia Olegovna Bueva at the end of the meeting said: “Many BSEU graduates work in the regional public organization Belaya Rus, even personally from my curatorial group. We have grown in this organization along with you. We look forward to further cooperation! The students and I will be an active support for you, and you, I dare to hope, for us!”
