“Belarusian authorities are open to youth”: International round table dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

On March 15, BSEU student activists took part in a remote format in the International round table "The role of youth in preserving historical memory and developing the state", dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus. Minsk City Hall was chosen as the central studio of the site. Kirill Nebylov, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, was lucky enough to personally present and represent BSEU in the City Hall.
Not only educational institutions of Belarus, but also students and students of educational institutions of the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, including BSEU partner universities, joined the online conference.
The platform was moderated by the Head of the Main Department for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee Olga CHEMODANOVA, who in a solemn atmosphere handed over the first passports to young citizens of the Republic of Belarus. The platform's experts were Chairman of the Belarusian Society "Knowledge" Vadim GIGIN, motivational speaker, founder of the charitable foundation, Paralympic athlete Aleksey TALAY and Director General of the Minsk-Novosti agency Andrey KRIVOSHEEV. In the course of an active dialogue with young Belarusians, issues such as the role of youth and the state in preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the people, preventing the distortion of history, preserving the memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War, as well as new forms and types of work with the population and youth on patriotic education were discussed. in modern conditions.
