Open conversation of deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus with students of BSEU

On April 17, BSEU was visited by deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Maria Viktorovna VASILEVICH, Marina Aleksandrovna LENCHEVSKAYA and Irina Eduardovna LUKANSKAYA. As part of the implementation of the initiative project “Let's Talk Openly” of the primary organization of the public association “Belarusian Union of Women” of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a discussion took place on the results of the Address of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly.
The Vice-Rector for educational work Sergei Ivanovich SKRIBA introduced the students of honor to the university. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, the Faculty of Digital Economy, the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education and students living in the dormitories of the Belarusian State Economic University.
On March 31, the President of the Republic of Belarus made a deep analysis of the situation that has developed around and within our young state and determined the directions for future work. Members of the Standing Committees of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus explained to the students the main points of the Message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly. Marina LENCHEVSKAYA, a member of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on National Security, dwelled in detail on the most important topic of the Address for Belarusians. She explained why our country retains and will retain sovereignty and independence. A graduate of the Belarusian State Economic University, a member of the Permanent Commission on Human Rights, Ethnic Relations and the Mass Media, Maria VASILEVICH, in the context of the Message of the Head of State, discussed with the students the conditions in which our economy operates, the results achieved recently and the benchmarks we are striving for. Member of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Legislation Irina LUKANSKAYA commented on the part of the President's Address that dealt with the social segment.
The deputies interested the students in that during the communication they gave life examples and found out the opinion of students on a particular issue. The guests, as well as all those present at the open conversation, want to see our country strong and united. In his Address, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich LUKASHENKO revealed the essential components of strength and unity: the key to success lies in the protection of traditional values, strong families, knowledge of history, a well-adjusted foreign policy, defense capability and an efficient economy.
