Belarusian State Economic University in the Republican contest of scholars "World Economy: Modern Development Trends"

On May 26, the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University hosted the Republican erudite competition "World Economy: Modern Development Trends".

The competition was held in 3 stages: 1 - writing an article in one of the proposed areas, 2 - passing remote testing on the global digital economy, 3 - public speaking before the jury in the form of defending your scientific research. BSEU undergraduate Karina MYADELETS took part in the competition. She, together with her supervisor Vitaly Viktorovich POZNYAKOV, revealed in the study the topic of cybersecurity in the banking sector, showed the sources of threats and methods for preventing them.

The jury of the competition consisted of highly qualified experts in the field of the digital world economy, chaired by Professor, Doctor of Economics Galina Alexandrovna SHMARLOVSKAYA.

Karina MYADELETS became the winner of this competition and shared her impressions: “For me, such a high appreciation of my ideas was a great honor. As the winner of the competition, I received a large number of proposals for cooperation. The offer to promote the further development of my ideas was especially valuable,” shared Karina.
