A group of FFB students was awarded with Certificates of Honor by the Belarusian Public Organization of Customs Officers

On May 29, the BSEU hosted the awarding ceremony for the first-year students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking. Young students throughout the year not only comprehended the basics of their specialty (finance and control in the field of customs activities), but also took an active part in the events and actions of the Belarusian Public Organization of Customs Officers. By the decision of the Presidium of the Belarusian Public Organization of Customs and the Association of Customs Representatives for active participation in the actions held by the Belarusian Public Organization of Customs, a group of students was awarded Certificates of Honor. They were presented by the deputy head of the Minsk Central Customs Vladimir Ivanovich VARENIK.

The solemn presentation of diplomas coincided with two significant events: the anniversary of the Belarusian State Economic University and the birthday of the Belarusian public organization of customs officers. The organizer of the meeting, Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Materials and Production Technologies, member of the Presidium of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, Chairman of the Commission on Youth Affairs at RS "BPOCO" Konstantin Fedorovich SAEVICH in his welcoming speech noted: "We are connected with BPOC not only by years of cooperation but also published stories. It so happened that for the past 4 years my students and I have been perpetuating the exploits of WWII partisans, veterans of the war in Afghanistan and veterans of Chernobyl. Just recently, we completed a great job of perpetuating the exploits of customs officers during the Second World War and in peacetime, compiled biographies of border guards.” The students handed over all the materials to the BPOC, where they will be prepared for printing and published. Also, for the birthday of the organization, the students prepared and filmed a half-hour congratulatory film, in which they performed with creative performances and historical inclusions.
