III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Investigative Activities: Science, Education, Practice"

On June 9, the National Library of the Republic of Belarus hosted the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Investigative Activities: Science, Education, Practice", organized by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the educational institution "Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus". The conference was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Union of Lawyers, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State Economic University Alexander SHKLYAREVSKY.

The conference brought together leading experts in the field of law and law enforcement, including employees of preliminary investigation bodies, other law enforcement agencies, teaching staff of educational institutions, researchers, graduate students. Issues discussed included topical issues of criminal law in the context of investigative activities; current trends in the development of the criminal process; conceptual directions of forensic support of the preliminary investigation; prospects for improving forensic and operational-search activities in pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases; development of the personnel training system for preliminary investigation bodies.

The conference was an excellent platform for the exchange of experience and ideas between experts in the field of law and law enforcement.
