Visit of the Ambassador of Brazil to BSEU

On June 15, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Belarus Bernard Georges Leopold de Garcia Klingle paid an official visit to BSEU.

The negotiations were attended by Dean of the Faculty of International Business Communications Yulia Shavruk, Head of the Department of German and Romance Languages Marina Komarova, Head of the International Relations Department Yulia Pavlovskaya.

During the talks, the parties expressed their mutual desire to expand the areas of further cooperation, which began a year ago. The Embassy of Brazil is interested in assisting him in various areas: from the selection of a partner university for our university to all kinds of academic mobility programs. Visiting the Center for Latin American Studies and the Center for Portuguese Language and Culture at the FIBC BSEU, Mr. Ambassador noted their level of equipment, and also stressed that BSEU has excellent potential for interaction with Latin American countries, since along with Spanish, our students are actively studying the Portuguese language, knowledge which is an important competitive advantage in the labor market.
