Meeting of the Central District Court of Minsk on the basis of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State Economic University

On September 28, at the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State Economic University, an on-site meeting of the Central District Court of Minsk was held to consider a criminal case regarding the commission of a crime under Part 1 of Article 317-2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus “Driving a vehicle by a person who does not have the right to drive.”

During the meeting, students were able to consolidate in practice the knowledge acquired within the framework of the academic discipline “Criminal Procedure” and ask the public prosecutor questions about the procedural and material part of the case under consideration. After the end of the court hearing, the judge of the Central District Court of Minsk, Dmitry Sergeevich KARSYUK, together with the senior assistant prosecutor of the Central District of Minsk, Artem Sergeevich TSVETKOV, talked with the students. They managed to discuss with the younger generation the motives for committing offenses, crimes and the consequences of these actions, as well as ways to protect themselves from criminals. At the end of the event, the guests of honor highlighted to the students the advantages of possible employment in the court and prosecutor's office.
