Continuation of the series of meetings with first-year students: FIBC

On November 1, the traditional meeting of the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Sergei SKRIBA with the first-year students of the Faculty of International Business Communications and their supervisors took place.

The vice-rector introduced the leadership of BSEU to the students, reminded the students of such important things as strict adherence not only to the established internal rules at the university and on campus, but also basic politeness towards teachers and their friends.

Sergei Skriba informed students about responsibility for behavior on the Internet: when posting information on your page on social networks or commenting on someone’s post, it is important to know what kind of information is strictly prohibited under the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus and entails very serious consequences.

In addition, the vice-rector spoke about the importance of student participation in various events held under the auspices of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, the volunteer movement, student groups, and actively participating in the life of the faculty, university, district and city. Sergei Skriba also recalled the upcoming Unified Voting Day in 2024, in which children will be able to take part upon reaching adulthood.

  “Four and a half years of study will pass very quickly, and I wish you to spend your student life primarily actively and achieve great heights in your studies and scientific activities!” - Sergei Skriba admonished the freshmen.
