FEM under student control

On November 17, International Students Day, the Faculty of Economics and Management traditionally held Student Government Day. It pleased the participants with a new format: students not only stood at the helm of the faculty, but also tried on the role of tour guides, teachers and speakers of intellectual games.

The newly appointed leadership of the faculty started work on time, set tasks for the staff and congratulated the students on the holiday. On this day, “understudies” appeared not only among the leadership of FEM - the beginning of the working day was marked by the appearance of new students at the faculty. They were students of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 77 in Minsk”. The schoolchildren were counting on an “easy” pastime - they thought that only an excursion awaited them. But they had to work in foreign language classes and demonstrate their skills in information technology. The guys visited the university’s sports complex, the gallery of flags, learned all about the traditions of FEM members and took part in a thematic brain ring. “Newly minted” FEM students successfully completed the course of preparation for the active phase of studenthood and even received supporting documents!

The “leadership” of FEM that day also did not waste time and attended a reception with the rector of BSEU Alexey Vladimirovich Egorov, the vice-rector for educational work Sergei Ivanovich Skriba and the head of the department of educational work with youth Denis Nikolaevich Vaskov.

Self-Government Day at FEM was a great success! We look forward to next year to be surprised again, because FEM will always come up with something new and interesting!
