Visit of BSEU representatives to China

In order to promote the export of educational services and attract foreign students, in October 2023, representatives of the Belarusian State Economic University - Dean of the Faculty of International Business Communications Yulia SHAVRUK and Head of the Educational and Methodological Department for Coordination of Foreign Citizens Elena KOLYADA visited the People's Republic of China.

To further promote educational cooperation, with the participation of the long-time partner of BSEU LLC "Beijing Trade and Commercial Company Chen Mu Yang" and directly from the company's representative, Gao Zhenjie, Yulia Shavruk and Elena Kolyada visited higher and secondary educational institutions in Xianghe County, Hebei Province - Langfang City. Negotiations took place with:
- the director of Langfang Shu Gao Higher Secondary School Ge Rongzhi and her deputy Zhang Yu;
- Head of the Center for International Communications of Hebei Foreign Studies University Shi Jia Zhuang;
- Director of Hebei Higher Secondary School, Dong Shubian;
- Head of the Center for International Communications of Langfang Pedagogical Institute Zhao Wenhua;
- First Secretary Dong Jianguo, First Deputy Director Liu Quanshun Vocational High School of Xianghe County.

At the meetings, issues of studying the Russian language by college and school graduates in the last year of study, including with the involvement of BSEU teachers, training of school graduates at the preparatory department of the university, joint programs: preparatory education and undergraduate specialties, undergraduate and graduate specialties, and also discussed participation of students and graduates of educational institutions in Summer and Winter schools organized by BSEU. A separate topic for discussion at the meeting at Lanfang Shu Gao Higher Secondary School was the functioning of the BSEU Linguistic Center in the PRC for the study of Russian language and culture, which opened in July 2023 during a visit to the higher school by the BSEU delegation led by BSEU Rector Alexei EGOROV.

Negotiations with the director of Qin Consulting Agency Bogin Jiacheng Education Consulting Co., Ltd., located in Beijing, turned out to be promising. At this meeting, the key issues were studying in English-language master's programs at BSEU.

Another meeting took place at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology. It was attended by representatives of the Gifted Youth Foundation of China, the director of the Institute of Continuing Education, the Student Training Center of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, teachers, parents and 35 students who began their first-year studies in the specialty “International Marketing” and in 2 years will arrive at BSEU to continue training. Lively dialogue and genuine interest on the part of students allowed the meeting to be fruitful!

When visiting Xianghe County, an unforgettable meeting took place with the parents of students who are studying at BSEU - and those who have already completed their studies. On their part, great gratitude was expressed to the leadership of BSEU and all teachers. The high level of training of graduates allows them to find decent work in their homeland.
