Solemn ceremony of awarding scholarship holders of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus

On November 20, a solemn ceremony of awarding scholarship holders of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus for the 2023/2024 academic year took place in the Victory Hall of the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony took place for the seventh time.

Scholarships from the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus are awarded annually to the best students. The selection criteria are the most stringent. Firstly, only students starting from the 2nd year, as well as undergraduates and graduate students, but only full-time students, can apply for this high award. Secondly, the grade point average must be at least 8 during the two semesters preceding the scholarship. But that's not all. The third and most important criterion for awarding a scholarship is the successful combination of social work in the primary trade union organization with high performance in the study of individual disciplines and research activities, active participation in creativity or sports.

The badge “Scholarship Winner of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus”, as well as a personal certificate and a memorable gift to the trade union activist and student of the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State Economic University Danae Sharshavitskaya were presented by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Vadim Grachev.
