New forms of FIER career guidance

On November 22, at the Igrow Center of Attraction of Belagroprombank, with the interaction of the leadership of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Belarusian State Economic University, more than 40 students took part in the career guidance conference “Employee of the Future: Professional Skills and Personal Competencies.”

The event participants were divided into teams that were able to demonstrate a creative and analytical approach to forming a portrait of an ideal employee and employer. The results of the presentations were assessed by professional experts of Belagroprombank, which made it possible not only to discuss knowledge and competencies, but also to obtain a practical connection between the educational process and the practical requirements of the modern labor market.

Such career guidance student conferences provide participants with a unique opportunity to discuss current issues of career opportunities and participate in the exchange of opinions and ideas in an interactive format.

The projects developed by the students not only became a creative expression of their vision of their future profession, but also, in interaction with representatives of the bank, added practical significance to the “employee of the future.”

We are convinced that active participation in the conference and interesting ideas contribute to the development of professional skills and personal competencies of FIER students, and such career guidance cooperation with Belagroprombank contributes to a better understanding of market needs by students and contributes to preparation for an informed choice of a future profession.
