Visiting professor at BSEU

From December 19 to 23, the Faculty of Digital Economics of the Belarusian State Economic University hosted the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Kuban State University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Igor Viktorovich SHEVCHENKO.

Igor Viktorovich held open lectures at BSEU “Russian Economy under Sanctions” and “Youth Startup Entrepreneurship”. The professor not only highlighted the features of the development of youth entrepreneurship and the functioning of the economy in the current conditions of unprecedented sanctions pressure on our countries, but also held a short quiz with pleasant gifts. In addition, Igor Viktorovich spoke about the prospects for participation in academic exchange between our universities. Note: The cooperation agreement between BSEU and Kuban State University was concluded on June 20, 2023. On the same day, the rectors signed an Agreement on Academic Exchange of Students.

The invited professor got acquainted with the history of our university with great interest, visited the BSEU library, talked with the head of the Department of Training of Highly Qualified Scientific Personnel of the BSEU Tatyana Dmitrievna SHKURATOVA and the university teaching staff. At the end of the visit, a working meeting was held with the participation of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of BSEU Olga Anatolyevna MOROZEVICH, Dean of the Faculty of Digital Economy Tatyana Nikolaevna NALETSKAYA and other interested representatives of BSEU. At the meeting, they discussed the prospects for developing cooperation in terms of networking at the undergraduate and graduate levels, joint scientific projects and teacher internships.
