Minister of Taxes and Duties Sergey Nalivaiko met with the leadership and students of BSEU

On February 15, the BSEU was visited by the Minister of Taxes and Duties Sergey Eduardovich Nalivaiko. During the visit, the Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Belarusian State University of Economics - Rector Alexey Vladimirovich Egorov, First Vice-rector Tatyana Vladimirovna Sadovskaya and students of our university.

Sergey Nalivaiko is a graduate of the Belarusian State University of Economics. During the conversation with the students, the minister noted that graduates of the country's leading economic university adequately demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the tax authorities. Today it is important to continue high-quality training of specialists in this field for the needs of the national economy.

In turn, the students of BSEU asked the Minister of Taxes and Duties questions related to the activities of the ministry and their subsequent employment in the tax authorities.

"We are always open to citizens. To get an appointment with a minister in Germany or the UK, you need to queue for six months. In Belarus, admission is possible within a week. Regarding employment in the tax authorities, it is necessary to have certain competencies, first of all, to get a higher education. By the way, graduates of BSEU remain in demand in our ministry," said Sergey Nalivaiko

The minister assigned a key role in the conversation with students to the topic of the upcoming single voting day, which will be held on February 25. Sergei Nalivaiko called on the Belarusian youth to approach an important event in the life of the state with full responsibility, stressing that our country provides many opportunities for young people.

"Social elevators have been established in Belarus, you can realize your potential, which is not possible in every state. If we talk about Western countries, in particular, the United States, then even for education and subsequent employment there it is necessary to occupy the necessary positions in society and have a serious level of well-being," the Minister of Taxes and Duties assured.

In turn, the staff and students of the Belarusian State University of Economics thanked Sergey Nalivaiko for an interesting meeting!
