The debate club "Boiling Point" of BSEU held a discussion on the topic "Securing the norms on the "green economy" in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus". The participants were students of the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology and the Faculty of Medical and Biological Culture, who presented arguments "for" and "against" this initiative.

The Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work Sergey Ivanovich SKRIBA made a welcoming speech, noting that this event contributes to increasing the effectiveness of political decision-making in various spheres of civil society and wished all participants victory, and the jury - to try to be loyal to the speakers.

The debaters were assessed by a competent jury: Chairman of the jury, Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for International Affairs and National Security - Sergei Anatolyevich RACHKOV, Chairman of the Zavodskoy District Organization "Belaya Rus" - Svetlana Vladimirovna LEONENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economics - Anastasia Olegovna BUEVA.

The participants discussed a wide range of pressing issues related to the prospects for the development of the "green economy" in Belarus. They reviewed international experience, economic and social consequences of the introduction of "green" technologies and the importance of enshrining norms in the Constitution.

Following a tense struggle, the "Solov'i" team consisting of Mikhail Prokopov and Mikhail Pavlyuchkov won. The jury noted their confident argumentation, depth of study of the topic and ability to convincingly present their position.
