Meeting of foreign students of BGEU

On April 2, a traditional meeting of foreign citizens enrolled in the educational institution "Belarusian State University of Economics" (hereinafter referred to as BGEU) in the spring of 2025 was held, in which 98 people took part.

The event was organized by employees of the educational and methodological department for the coordination of training of foreign citizens (hereinafter referred to as UMU KOIG) and representatives of the Department of Citizenship and Migration (hereinafter referred to as OGiM) of the Zavodskoy district of Minsk.

The welcoming speech was made by the head of the UMU KOIG Elena Vladimirovna Kolyada.

Police major, senior inspector of the OGiM of the Zavodskoy district of Minsk Tatyana Pavlovna Lebedeva explained to the students in detail the procedure for complying with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and responsibility for their violation, including: the rules for the stay and residence of foreign citizens on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Further, Kolyada E.V., Head of the UMU KOIG, paid special attention to the observance by foreign students of the Internal Regulations for students and the Rules for living in BGEU dormitories. Also during the event, students received answers to questions regarding the study of the Russian language at BGEU, the schedule of the educational process, documentary support for leaving for summer holidays in the country of citizenship, the possibility of receiving consulting and information assistance, and others.
