BSEU has improved its position in the uniRank University Ranking™!

In May 2025, the uniRank University Ranking™ was updated.

The uniRank University Ranking™ evaluates the traffic to the websites of educational institutions. The ranking is based on web analytics indicators (60%) and social media presence (40%). The full algorithm used to rank universities is not disclosed in order to minimise potential attempts to manipulate the ranking.  
The current uniRank University Ranking™ is based on an algorithm that includes 4 unbiased and independent web metrics extracted from 3 different web intelligence sources:

1. Majestic Referring Domains (55%)
2. Similarweb Global Rank (35%)
3. Moz Domain Authority (5%)
4. Majestic Trust Flow (5%)

In the updated rating Belarus State Economic University is ranked 4717 in the world and 9th among Belarusian universities.

The improvement of our University’s position in this rating is the result, first of all, the result of the well-coordinated work of the University's staff in promoting BSEU in social networks.

At present, within the framework of the implementation of the roadmap for the promotion of BSEU in the international rankings till 2026, approaches are being made to the management of official groups, channels, public pages in social networks and messengers to make the university known to a wide audience, to promote the inflow of applicants and to increase the participation of students in educational and extracurricular activities.
