Choosing a profession is choosing a future

On May 27, a cycle of career guidance events was launched, traditionally organized by the educational and methodological department for the coordination of training of foreign citizens for students of the pre-university training and career guidance center. The first meeting featured the Faculty of International Business Communications and the Faculty of Economics and Management. The event was attended by representatives of the university's structural divisions: Head of the UMU KOIG Elena Vladimirovna Kolyada, Dean of the FEM Elena Vladimirovna Petrichenko, Deputy Dean for ideological and educational work of the FMBC Vasilyeva Lyubov Gennadyevna, as well as teachers, employees and students of the university.

The presentation by second-year FMBC student Yulia Kovalenko, developed within the framework of the CSB.ed project (CHINESE STUDENTS IN BELARUS/Education of Chinese students in Belarus), was of particular interest to those present. The students of the Center for Career Guidance will definitely have warm memories of the conversation with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Elena Vladimirovna Petrichenko, who spoke about the work of her native faculty and important aspects of studying there.

A pleasant surprise for the students of the Center for Career Guidance was the performance of Belarusian students studying Chinese, who performed a Chinese piece of music. As a reciprocal step, the foreign students sang the song "Katyusha" in Russian, which will definitely remain in the memory of all those present.

The event was held in a friendly atmosphere and, as the students of the Center for Career Guidance noted, was informative and useful.

The cycle of career guidance events will continue with a meeting of the students of the Center for Career Guidance with representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Economics on May 30, the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Management will present their faculties on June 3, and the final meeting will be with representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Economics, which is scheduled for June 6.
