Dialogue platforms "University graduates in the labor market: modern requirements, professional competencies, adaptation features" at FCTI

The Faculty of Commerce and the Tourism Industry hosted dialogue platforms on "University graduates in the labor market: modern requirements, professional competencies, and adaptation features." Within the framework of this event, an open dialogue was held between representatives of large companies in the real sector of the economy, acting as personnel customers, and the faculty faculty.
The first day of the dialogue platform was focused on discussing issues of practice-oriented training for students of the specialties "Commerce" and "Commodity Science". The event was attended by representatives of the largest players in the retail market – Eurotorg LLC, Santa Retail LLC, GUM JSC, Dobronom CJSC and Belinvesttorg LLC. During the meeting, options for cooperation between the university and real sector organizations were discussed in order to expand the professional competencies of graduates, the need for which was conditioned by the transformation of the modern labor market.
On the second day, a dialogue platform was held with representatives of the country's hotel and tourism business – Tabak-Invest LLC, FalconInvestment LLC, Viapol LLC and Gelena Tourist Center LLC.
During the meeting, employers, together with the faculty's management and teachers, discussed issues related to the specifics and problems of graduates' adaptation to the workplace; necessary competencies for graduates, which it is advisable to provide for as part of the educational process; personal qualities in demand in modern conditions; as well as key problems and contradictions between existing and necessary knowledge in real work., skills, behavioral characteristics of young professionals.
This event made it possible to coordinate common approaches and identify priorities for training specialists to ensure their relevance in the labor market. In addition, a rich program of dialogue platforms allowed us to outline options for future interaction to improve student learning at the University and strengthen its practice-oriented orientation.
